Honestly, I think they did a fantastic job of tutoring. My tutors, Kenny and Tim, were both very kind and friendly. They were also very effective at teaching the subjects and helping me improve. As an example, before, my math scores were honestly quite bad. However thanks to Kenny's tutoring, my IB score for my SL AI maths was a level 7. As for Tim who helped me tutor Geography and Economics, he was also very helpful at critiquing and helping me understand some of the more complicated parts of the two subjects. This tutoring was also very helpful in guiding me how to write economic essays. And also lead to a level 7 in IB. Therefore I can confidently say that they were great tutors. They also had snacks for students, although I never really ate there. So if I had to give a star rating out of 5, I can confidently rate them a 5 out of 5 stars.

Kenny has helped me throughout secondary school maths for several years, and without his support, I would have had a much harder time getting through the IBDP. Although I never particularly liked or felt good at math, as I practised and learned strategies with Kenny, I became more confident and engaged- even to the point where I would do maths practice papers for relaxation during exam periods! Kenny is incredibly encouraging and can make math exciting and fun. His study materials are also beneficial for preparation, whether for a small unit test or the final exams. He is always available and efficient in supporting students, even outside of class times. I am so grateful to KC Tutoring for all of their help!

I joined KC Tutoring in year 11 and they helped me bring my failing math grade to a final grade of B in a few months. As well as helped me achieve a high grade in Maths IB the following two years. Kenny has continuously taught and supported me throughout my secondary years in Mathematics. I have not always been a natural learner in mathematics, so his classes have helped me greatly as he is able to break down complex concepts into simple explanations, using familiar analogies. He is also extremely patient and always finds new ways to help me understand topics if I am confused. Not only is he an excellent teacher for learning but also an excellent teacher for mathematic exams preparation. Kenny always has the best material, his practice questions for specific topics on specific exam types (eg SAT or IB) are always very fitting to real exam-style questions. Kenny is also always available to answer my questions or concerns on math related homework or questions, even outside of our class times or regular hours, he is always supportive and ready to help. Overall I cannot recommend a better math tutor in Hong Kong than Kenny, and my lessons with him have boosted my performance but also confidence in Math, leading me to being predicted a 7 for my IBDP AI course, and I owe much of my success in the subject to his guidance and teaching.
"When I first started at KC Tutoring, I arrived late to my first lesson because I dreaded receiving tuition for my worst subject, maths. But before I realised it, I was looking forward to every lesson, because of how easy going the tutors were! That isn't to say they didn't get the job done; within weeks, my grades were climbing at an exponential rate, and by the time I left for university, maths was easily my best subject. The tutors are extremely competent at what they do, and are very patient with you even if you aren't. My daughter was not what you called math-inclined, nor did she have a very good math base at school. Kenny had to start with the foundations with her and although that took two years, my daughter is now doing very well in math! He not only explains math in a way that is understandable, he's able to make the child not hate math and -dare I say- like it! :) The child walks away with solidly learned concepts and a confidence/mindset that they can do it. Kenny has a gift for both encouraging and teaching students.

My time at KC Tutoring has been AMAZING. The atmosphere is relaxed but it remains superbly academic. I came here extremely confused with physics and math, but with my tutor’s patience and expertise, my understanding and confidence quickly grew. These subjects are no longer ones I dread.
